AFAM teach-in event about Charlottesville draws big crowds, featured in Centre Daily Times

African American Studies held a teach-in event in the wake of the events in Charlottesville on Tuesday, September 5th. A huge crowd packed in to Foster Auditorium to hear a panel of Penn State faculty (including our Department Head Cynthia Young and professors Courtney Morris, Jeanine Staples and Abraham Khan) discuss the events and the larger social issues at play in America, and got a chance to ask questions.

The event was featured in the Centre Daily Times. Click here to read the full article.
