Biography:

David McBride received his BA, from Denison University; M. Phil. and Ph.D., from Columbia University. He is a Professor in African and African-American Studies Department, and African American History, Faculty Associate Center for Health Policy Research Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA. 16802TEACHING AREAS: African-American History; Health Issues of Minority Americans; Black Families; and Technology and Information Issues of US Minorities and in the Non- Western World. His RESEARCH INTERESTS include Health and Medical Care of Minority Americans and African Diaspora Populations; Environmental Issues and Disadvantaged Populations; Information Science Issues and Disadvantaged Populations.
