African American Studies Department Retreat 2025

On August 19th, the African American Studies Department gathered for a day-long retreat at the beautiful Nature Inn at Bald Eagle. Faculty and staff engaged in strategic visioning, team-building exercises, and collaborative discussions focused on revising and strengthening the AFAM curriculum. The scenic setting provided an ideal backdrop for thoughtful dialogue, reflection, and connection. Special thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to shaping the future of our department!
