Professional Bio
David McBride received his bachelor of arts degree, from Denison University; master of philosophy and doctoral degrees, from Columbia University. He is a professor in African and African American studies, and African American history at Penn State.
TEACHING AREAS: African-American history; health issues of minority Americans; Black families; and technology and information issues of U.S. minorities and in the non-Western world.
His RESEARCH INTERESTS include health and medical care of minority Americans and African diaspora populations; environmental issues and disadvantaged populations; and information science issues and disadvantaged populations.
